Messenger Bags

I had been looking for an inexpensive "messenger" bag like this for months. All that seemed to be available were huge "laptop" bags with a cushioned compartment for the machine, not what I wanted. I had just about given up when I discovered Wayfair and this wonderful bag. It is exactly what I wanted, not too big, lightweight, no laptop padding, and lots great small pockets for my "stuff". This is my second "Tank" Messenger bag. I ordered the new bag because the old bag was starting to wear out, after seven years of daily use. I'm especially fond of the fact that you can fit a lot into this bag, while still carrying it comfortably. My only complaint is that they have yet to redesign the slide-through fitting where the adjustable strap attaches to the bag. This plastic "loop" always gets twisted out of position and causes the strap to bunch up. I bought this bag for my 7th grade son, and it seemed like it was going to be perfect. There are pockets all over the place for great storage organization. The only hitch came when he had to put the binders in it he needed for each class. Then it became obvious that it was wayyy too small for his needs. We were both pretty bummed as every other part of the bag was great. So I might recommend this bag for an elementary school kid but not for any student that has any amount of books and notebooks."..."  Read more

I purchased the Small and Medium classic messenger bags by Timbuk2. I carry the small one to work with me everyday, and it fits almost everything. I use the medium when I need to carry some shoes with me or need to take a lot more stuff with me. The medium fits a lot of stuff, and I wish I had one when I was in college. Words can't express the quality of these bags. They are tough, waterproof, stylish, and very handy for everyday use. I have no doubt that they'll last me for decades and still look good. I'm rarely separated from my small messenger, and my wife calls it my man purse. All jokes aside, if you are looking for a messenger bag, this is THE one to get."..."  Read more
