I really like the bag overall; it is nice to carry & has all the pockets I could ever need. The strap is a bit uncomfortable if you really pack it heavy (which I do), but its bearable. Also, the back pocket is just a bit too small for a regular size laptop, so it has to go in the main compartment.
The Pockets/Compartments:
It has two lenghtwise pockets in front, a large main compartment with business card pouch, pens & additional cell phone pouch (I use the ones in front for my cell phones, however). Between the maincompartment and the front is another zipper pocket and the back of the bag has a zipper pocket; both large enough for snacks and folders. The leather from the inside of the back pocket only, leaves little bits of leather on things (not a big deal but gross). The front flap also has a zipper pocket in it, great for a slim daytimer.
I bought the dark brown one and the cross is black--looks great! There are more pictures on the manufacure's web site for the various colors.

Wonderful bag, I have had it nearly 1 month now and it still has that new leather smell. The texture of the bag is great as it adds a non slip quality to the bag. Pocket placement is great and I make use of the front one for my phone,wallet and gum. There is a very shallow verticle zippered pocket along one side of the bag, perfect for my house and car key.
The main flap is kept together by magnets which made me apprehensive but so far has been great and I even have a new found appreciation for the quick access. On the product: I got exactly what I was hoping for in this bag. It's very spacious and allows me to carry my textbooks, computer components for my job, and pretty much anything else I need. I have carried a 19 inch flat-panel monitor in this thing, as well as a 10 pound Alienware M17x laptop, though it doesn't fit in the laptop slot. I find the two opening flaps with the magnetic snaps to be very useful when I want to get into the bag, but if you are concerned about zipping your bag then don't buy this. The snaps are your only closing option; however, this doesn't have any bearing on my use of the product. Overall, an excellent purchase, well worth the price, and more.
Other thoughts: This thing is just plain cool. I love the High Voltage strap and canvas material, it's an awesome look. I don't know if this will be a factor in your purchase, but if it is then go for it. I've received dozens of comments on this bag, a number of compliments and even a few jokes about people stealing it. It's definitely eye-catching, yet it is sturdy and practical to boot. This bag is absolutely beautiful! The leather is soft and high guality. The bag will hold ALOT of stuff! I am amazed how much I can fit into it. I use this bag every day and I am NOT gentle with my bags at all. It has held up perfectly so I KNOW it is well made. I have the tan one and the leather even looks better with wear which is unusual! Alot of leather products look like the leather peels away with wear but not this one. It just gets a more "weathered" look which I love!
