The train set was well built and our 2 year old daughter has had many hours of enjoyment playing with it. The taller sections of the train are beyond her and could be more stable if they were glued together.

What an amazing deal and these tracks are perfect!! They come with TONS of trains, accessories, tracks, YOU NAME IT. We feel like we have enough tracks to grow up with our son and he will never be lacking. It's awesome!

This train set was purchased for my 2 year old grandson. Although he obviously can't use all the train set parts yet, he is always rummaging through the box of parts to see what else he wants me to build into the simple layouts we've built so far. Great for a youngster - the set can be basic enough for a two year old and can grow with him(her).

Lots of well made pieces that keep little ones' imaginations going!

This train set is a hit with our 4 year old son. He plays with it for as long as he can ... and makes up little stories as he moves the trains around on it. And another great thing, even though he knocks over a track or two, he's able to fix it on his own (for the most part). We did buy a train table since it seems to work best on a hard surface (not carpet).

This is by far the best train set that I have found and I did alot of research before choosing this one. It is almost all wood construction except for a couple of pieces. The best thing about this set is that it is almost all track, trains, and roundhouse with very few filler pieces such as trees. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a quality train set.

Got it for 2 1/2 yr old son and he loves it. It came with easy assembly instructions and everything was included. We liked how much track came with it- that was more important to us than all the accessories that come with so many other sets.

We found this to be a good, solid set. We have had a few pieces break, but our boys play roughly with them. The pieces were easily fixed with wood glue. We were impressed with the overall value of the set. Buying all these components from The Learning Curve (Thomas) would have been very expensive. Everything here works well with the Thomas set. I even like this roundhouse better than the Thomas one. The trains that come with this set are nice, too. We were pleased with this purchase.
