I got this mainly for my 3 year old so he could work while he played on Fine Motor skills, a are in which we have been working on with a Occupational Therapist now for a year now....I am very familure with Melissa and Doug products and knew it would be great for what we needed. But I was also surprised that my 5 year old loved playing with them as well. The kids will play over and over again with these and provide not only a fun time for both boys ages 3 and 5 but also a great way to help with fine motor and cutting skills.
