Medicine Cabinets

Today I put together both this medicine cabinet and also the little cabinet that sits below it.( see other review). I LOVE this medicine cabinet ~ it is abit smaller than I imagined but its great just the same! I am sure I will have it for years to come and I love the old time design of it and the hardware. Love this medicine cabinet. In a world of outrageously expensive medicine cabinets this is a true value. It is the quintessential med cabinet. It has a solid door, glass shelves, a strong, metal body. I've used commercial quality all stainless steel cabinets again and again, and I love them. This is not that. I had searched and read about a dozen medicine cabinets before finally deciding on thisone. It was packaged very well eveything arrived intact. I like that it is sturdy metal cabinet with a baked-on rust resistant finish. I am happy with the quality of the mirror door . The only thing I was dissappointed with was the plastic shelves and plastic brackets. While the shelves are strong and hold all our supplies I would have preferred to see metal shelves to match the rest of the cabinet. The plastic cheapens the look. Other than the plastic shelves I was very happy with this size I picked over smaller ones. Its nice to have a decent size mirror. The steel mirror frame is a nice detail came protecetd with peel-off tape so it doesnt scratch. I was going to get a cabinet with a bevelled-edge mirror instead but i am v happy with the way this one is. Its a great space saver in the bathroom can hide a lot of bathroom clutter"..."  Read more

I usually say that they don't make things like they used to, but in this case they make them better! The mirror on our old medicine cabinet was "rotting", and we found out it would cost about $100 to get it repaired. We found this new medicine cabinet and couldn't be happier. It has mirrors everywhere and is constructed very well. The mirror on the inside lets you see (from reflection) what is in the back of each shelf. I ordered an extra glass shelf for $13, because I have lots of little stuff. The shelves have a locking mechanism that holds them in place so that they can't slide out the front of the cabinet.
