I used the Simply Better 45 Blade Meat Tenderizer by Jaccard once so far and love it! In fact, I cannot imagine cooking meat in the future without using it. I used it on 3 New York Strip Steaks which can be chewy. The steaks were still a bit frozen so after tenderizing one side, I flipped them over and tenderized the other side. I am a senior citizen with wrist tendon problems as well as arthritis, yet I was able to use the Simply Better 45 Blade Meat Tenderizer by Jaccard easily. I marinated the 3 strip steaks in teriyaki sauce overnight and cooked them the next day. As I began to cut half of one up for my dog (our baby) I could tell immediately that it was extremely tender. Eating the steaks was so pleasurable because of the tenderness. A huge improvement!!! I love that it can be washed in the upper shelf of the dishwasher with the cartridge still intact But because I can't see the blades, I ran it through the dishwasher twice to be sure it got cleaned extremely well. I like this product so much I have already ordered 2 more to use as gifts for a couple of bridal showers I'll be attending this year."..." Read more
