Just OK Got it for a great price, but viewing the nightsky was the same as if I was using a pair of binoculars. |

Not the best I was expecting something with a bit more quality. And a bit more user friendly. I like the looks of the scope but that's it |

My Nine Year-Old Love It I gave this to my nine year-old daughter for her birthday and she loves it. It is easy to use. Within the first half hour of use, she was able to focus on Saturn with the aid of the red spot viewfinder. Every night we are out star gazing. The unit is solid and easy to assemble. It took 30 minutes to put together and the instructions were simple to follow. The only snag was that I did not see the plastic tab over the battery which power the red spot light and took 10 minutes to figure that out. All in all, I'd recommend this telescope. |

Looks good but does not perform good. This telescope was a dud. The red dot finder stopped working after two days; as a result, I can not locate stars in the sky. In addition, the telescope's magnification is very weak; even when the red dot locater worked, viewing stars was obsolete. Looking at the moon was ok, but it was only a close up of what one sees with his/her naked eye. I am a beginner telescope user, but I was expectng something a little more amazing. Eventually, I may purchase a more expensive/advanced telescope in order to explore the night sky. I guess you get what you pay for. |
