This clear cutting board is smooth and easy to clean. There are no concerns whatsoever about bacteria growing anywhere. Susan from Houston, TX	5.0 10/9/2012 Heat Proof Glass I have looked for months for heat resistant glass pieces like this that I could put on a fine piece of furniture, a long wood buffet I have, and put hot dishes on to serve for company. These are the only ones I found anywhere that will certify they are heat resistant and that looked very nice to complement a fine piece of furniture. So happy with them, have used them 3 times already for groups of 20 for dinner. The rubber pieces on the bottom are nicely placed, unlike some others I got that were put on cheaply where you could see the glue and came off right away. No negatives, get and enjoy!
