And so does my Doberman, Kaiser. Of course he'd always prefer to sleep with his parents, but he does sleep comfortably, from what I can tell. I got the XL to make sure he has plenty of room, but I'm pretty confident he'd fit in the Large. I have laid down on it and it's very comfortable. And I put his blankets on it so he still had the familiar scent, and it keeps the cover cleaner. I definitely recommend this bed to everyone!

Great product, I ordered the XL size for my german shepherd, and now both the dog and the cat sleep on it together.

This is the best dog bed I ever bought (also the most expensive). The bed is elegantly designed and appears to be very well made. It looks great in my living room. The bolsters don't flop over. This bed is great for dogs that like to have their head up on a bolster, or for dogs that like to lie with their back against the bolster. Also great for dogs that like to be comfortable! My two standard poodles love it. The bed has 2" of memory foam and 2" of support foam. Instructions tell you to make sure that you have the memory foam on top. My only complaint is that it shows dirt more than most dog beds (I have the navy microfiber cover). Washing it is pretty easy. The foam fits very snugly in the cover, so getting the cover back on after washing takes some doing, but not too bad. Overall, I like this bed so much that I'm thinking of getting a second one.
