Okay, after much research, I decided on this mattress for its construction and price. I wanted an all-natural latex product for its hypo-allergenic properties, its long-lasting life and its comfort. That was the easy part; the hard part was choosing a product from a company of which I had never heard. Thanks to the few reviews here at Wayfair, I took a chance which I will never regret! I have a pillow-topped Tempur-pedic mattress which I sleep on; this latex mattress is for my daughter. My mattress was easily 3 times the cost; her mattress is noticably more comfortable. Nuff said. I did not notice any odors upon opening it. All the corners rose properly (in under 3 hours). The bamboo-ticking has the feel of fine linen. This mattress is firm in a supportive manner, not "hard" by any stretch of the imagination. I could not be happier with this mattress. I strongly recommend it!"..."  Read more

I bought two of these mattresses for my children's room and am happy with my purchase. I liked the price and that the foam used is supposed to be less toxic. I had researched organic, natural latex mattresses and the cost was astronomical! I feel these were a good compromise given our budget. There was an odor when we opened these although nothing as nasty smelling as a memory foam mattress topper I had purchased years back. We let them air out for a couple of days before putting them in the room. I probably should have let them air out for a week because there was still a slight odor in the room if the door was closed for the next week or so. The mattresses seem fairly comfortable and supportive. They're not at all bouncy like an innerspring mattress nor do they conform as much as memory foam. They're comfortable enough that my husband and I are considering purchasing one of the thicker versions of this mattress for ourselves. That being said, neither of us suffer from back pain nor are we terribly picky about the firmness of our mattress."..."  Read more

I wanted a tempur-pedic type mattress without paying the ridiculous price.Well, I have to say that this mattress is just fantastic! It came rolled into a very long narrow rectangular box and, once opened, blossomed into the nicest mattress I have ever owned! I ordered an Eastern King and after a full month on it, I can say that I do not regret my choice. It seems soft when I sit on the edge while getting dressed compared to my old coil spring mattress. I have learned that I must sit further back. However, I sleep like an angel and as a back sleeper, I pull my pillow out and sleep flat with no pain at all in the morning. I am pregnant so sleeping on our old spring mattress was getting painful. I wanted Latex because of the benefits over memory foam. I am very happy with this mattress. At first we were skeptical because the mattress comes rolled up and doesn't seem to be 10", but once you open it it fluffs out (I measured the next day to make sure) and is very comfortable. You need to give time for the smell to disappear but that is all the latex and foam mattresses. Just so you know the box spring does need to be put together so make sure you have a power drill! Euro Top - Euro Top mattresses have an extra layer of padding on the top that is stitched directly to the mattress. There is no gap between the topping and the mattress frame. Euro Tops are normally 2-4 inches higher than standard mattresses, providing an extra layer of cushion and relief!

Pillow Top - Pillow Top mattresses are similar to a Euro Top, with extra cushioning on top of the mattress frame. Pillow Tops feature a gap between the cushioned top and the mattress. A Pillow Top may appear to sit higher and be thicker than a Euro Top and may feel slightly more plush due to the added space between the two parts of the mattress
