Mattresses

Okay, after much research, I decided on this mattress for its construction and price. I wanted an all-natural latex product for its hypo-allergenic properties, its long-lasting life and its comfort. That was the easy part; the hard part was choosing a product from a company of which I had never heard. Thanks to the few reviews here at Wayfair, I took a chance which I will never regret! I have a pillow-topped Tempur-pedic mattress which I sleep on; this latex mattress is for my daughter. My mattress was easily 3 times the cost; her mattress is noticably more comfortable. Nuff said. I did not notice any odors upon opening it. All the corners rose properly (in under 3 hours). The bamboo-ticking has the feel of fine linen. I bought two of these mattresses for my children's room and am happy with my purchase. I liked the price and that the foam used is supposed to be less toxic. I had researched organic, natural latex mattresses and the cost was astronomical! I feel these were a good compromise given our budget. There was an odor when we opened these although nothing as nasty smelling as a memory foam mattress topper I had purchased years back. We let them air out for a couple of days before putting them in the room. I probably should have let them air out for a week because there was still a slight odor in the room if the door was closed for the next week or so. The mattresses seem fairly comfortable and supportive. They're not at all bouncy like an innerspring mattress nor do they conform as much as memory foam. They're comfortable enough that my husband and I are considering purchasing one of the thicker versions of this mattress for ourselves. The mattress came in a little box rolled up and I was astonished at first because I didn't believe that a twin size mattress can fit into something that small. But once I opened unrolled it and cut the plastic from around it, instantly grew to size and it's very comfortable. I bought it for my daughters box bed and it fits perfectly, no problems with it and she sleeps through the night on it. I wanted a tempur-pedic type mattress without paying the ridiculous price.Well, I have to say that this mattress is just fantastic! It came rolled into a very long narrow rectangular box and, once opened, blossomed into the nicest mattress I have ever owned! I ordered an Eastern King and after a full month on it, I can say that I do not regret my choice. It seems soft when I sit on the edge while getting dressed compared to my old coil spring mattress. I have learned that I must sit further back. However, I sleep like an angel and as a back sleeper, I pull my pillow out and sleep flat with no pain at all in the morning.
