I wanted a mat that brought energy to the front door, and this mat certainly does that. It makes me happy every time I see it. The mat was, however, different colors than I anticipated. In the photo it looks like the color of the edging and the color of the pots are the same blue. They aren't. The edging is somewhere between lavender and purple ~ as my mother just to say, it clashes. The mat is also quite thick, perhaps an inch. Not great for older people who use a cane or walker. Although it's big enough and heavy enough that it is quite stable, it could trip someone if they weren't paying attention. But that goes for any doormat. I was having trouble with other door mats trapping dirt and being difficult to clean. This boot scraper is great because the dirt falls through then can be swept or blown away. If the mat gets muddy, just spray it clean with the hose; it dries fast, too. Very sturdy construction means it will last a long time. Just don't step on it with bare feet! The only downside about a mat like this is that it will slide around on a garage floor, so you must take care so as not to "surf" on it."..." Read more
