We keep our chair on a covered porch, so I cannot attest to its lasting quality under all weather elements. Good, solid, and very comfortable chair.

Fairly comfortable although @ least a back cushion is recommended. I put mine under a redwood tree and when it rains the fallen "fruit" from the tree has stained the painted finish so would not recommend to put it under any plants that have fruit that might stain.

These chairs are heavy which I wanted and attractive but very narrow. My husband and I are average size people and our hips barely fit at the inlet...chair widens towards the back. I am returning them for this reason.
