Magnussen South Hampton 3 Drawer Nightstand
3 Drawer Nightstand

I'm very happy with this nightstand. It is just as pictured online. It was already put together so that was nice. It's sturdy and well made. I would recommend it.
Wayfair and product are great

The nightstand is the best quality furniture I have seen in a long time. The packing alone was great. I knew from the quality of packing that the product was going to be great. Love the fact that I can plug in the nightstands one electric cord to my outlet and then have three plugs for light and other items from the nightstand. The touch strip to turn lamp on and off is so easy. I love everything about this furniture.

Received two nightstands yesterday - they are gorgeous! Because the finish is black, the picture doesnt do them justice. Spent about six weeks looking for nightstands, finally ordered the Magnussen South Hampton - fully expecting disappointment from an internet purchase. Surprise - this is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful finish, excellent construction!
Great piece of furniture.

Just received these handsome nightstands and they are better than I anticipated. Built extremly well and I did not have to assemble anything.

Have been looking for the right nightstands for quite a while now. Had trouble finding the quality for the price. I certainly found it here and will definitely buy from Wayfair again.
Perfect classic black night stand
Wendy from San Antonio
Bought this nightstand for my son's room -- it's perfect! [...] Seems to be very well made. I plan to order a glass top to protect it from my local glass fabricator, but I would completely recommend this nightstand

This is a very well-built nightstand. It even comes with a built-in wire/plug system for your lamp shade, your clock, and even a cellphone charger. The three drawers are shallow, but functional and are perfect for your diary, watches, scarves. The top drawer is also felt-lined. The brushed nickel hardware adds a nice contrast to the black lacquer. Highly recommended.

drawers glide easily, quality construction
Greg from Texas
We were looking for new furniture that was not cheaply built but not so expensive to change out if our tastes changed. Ordered the night stand only to review the quality and was very pleased.[...]. The quality of construction and finish was better than hoped for. Drawer construction and slides were of good workmanship and materials, including drawer pull hardware. An unexpected bonus, the nightstand came with power strip mounted to the bottom with two outlets and a third for a touch feature for your lamp. Overall, good quality at a fair price with free shipping. We've already ordered the chest of drawers.
From the beginning as a small furniture company in Ontario, Canada, Magnussen has evolved into a full line furniture resource with offices in Ontario, Canada; High Point, NC; Riverside, CA; and, the Far East. Their business is creating furniture designs of exceptional style, value and beauty. Magnussen produces these designs in partnership with their manufacturing partners around the world that meet exacting standards for superior quality at the best possible value.

Even as the company has grown larger, the principles of a family-run business -- trust, honesty and respect -- continue to be its foundation. The company was founded in 1931 by Ingwer Magnussen. A cabinetmaker by trade and a craftsman and businessman by heart, Ingwer took the bold initiative to start his own business in Kitchener, Ontario, when he was unable to find work during the 1930s depression. He beautifully and intricately carved show wood for sofa frames for upholstery manufacturers and his business grew into a good-sized company serving Canada.
Richard Magnussen, Ingwer's son, joined the company in 1970 at the age of 20. Richard steered the company's focus on expansion and growth, enabling Magnussen Furniture to become Canada's largest supplier of occasional tables. In 1986, Richard founded Presidential Furniture, a division of Magnussen Furniture, to serve the U.S. market. In 1986, the company began trading as Magnussen-Presidential Furniture, which became one of the most progressive occasional furniture suppliers in North America. With an eye to detail and an understanding of the worth of exclusive designs, Richard built relationships with international manufacturers from around the world and tapped a huge growth opportunity. Magnussen-Presidential Furniture began importing from the Orient a decade before fashion trends and design styles in the furniture business made it in vogue to do so.
In 2002, Magnussen-Presidential Furniture became Magnussen Home. The addition of "Home" reflects what Magnussen offers as a company -- fine furniture, designed and created by a family of craftsmen from around the world, to fill the most important rooms in your home.
Details are important... even down to where you will set a water glass. They have a passion for details. It stems from how Magnussen runs their company, grows into the conveniences they design into their furniture, and blooms into the relationships built with their valued dealers.
Magnussen designs every piece of furniture that carries the Magnussen Home name. They understand that finishing touches like intricately carved woodwork or ironwork do more than complete the look of a piece of furniture; they set the tone of your home. Magnussen furniture does more than fill a home. It expresses who we are.
An unwavering commitment to ensuring your satisfaction is their most important difference.
