Great shoe rack!
MB from Saratoga, NY
This shoe rack works great. I have it hanging on the outside of the coat closet. If I put it on the inside, it would definitely touch the coats bc it is a small closet. Something to consider if you are buying to put on the inside. Make sure you have enough room. It holds my husband's shoes, my shoes, and my 3 year old's shoes, and when my guests come, it holds their shoes as well. My daughter's shoes that are slippery on the bottom do not stay on as well, but the ones with the rubber bottoms stay put. Her shoe size is a 7. Very convenient for coming in, and putting your shoes somewhere off the floor. Also, when putting together, make sure you follow the directions as they say, or it will not stay together. Great piece for the price. Glad I bought it!

I like the concept of this shoe rack, in that it is easy to see all of your shoes, and they are at your fingertips rather than on the floor of my closet in a heap. However there are several draw-backs: Without securing the rack to the door throughout the length of the rack, it tends to pull away from the door and shoes slip down behind it. It also hinders the door from closing flush as all over-the-door pieces tend to do. It's the best I have to use for now, and I will try to improve on it by adding fasteners to the door throughout the length of the rack all the way to the bottom.

This is a very nice shoe rack. I got this one to replace a rack that was falling apart. The rack went together very easily. All you need is a hammer to tap the pieces together. I found I needed the adhesive pads to keep the rack from swinging out too far from the door, thus dropping the shoes to the floor. It fit nicely on my closet door, which is narrow. This fit more shoes than the old rack and is much sturdier. Would recommend to anyone.
You get what you pay for...

I bought this because it was it was cheap and it was a space saver. It was easy to put together which was a plus. Once I got it together was when the problems began. Even though I put it together according to the directions the bottom two racks fell apart. The shoes also don't stay in the rack. Opening and closing the door causes the shoes and the light weight rack to shift resulting in all of my shoes ending up on the ground.
Does the job

This product was easy to put together if you follow their instructions of assembling it on a hard surface. I initially attempted to do it on a carpet and experienced difficulty. After moving to a hard surface, it took no time. It fits 36 pairs of my heels and booties. I'm happy that it saves me a lot of room in my walk in closet.
Excelent Shoe Rack

If you follow the instructions provided 100 % you won't have a problem assembling it, specially the one about using a hard surface and not carpet or soft surface to put all parts together. Mine is holding 29 pairs of shoes right now without a problem and there's room for a couple more. Not always it will be able to hold 36 pair of shoes, it depends on shoe size, usually with men shoes you will be able to place only 2 pair of shoes per bar and 3 pairs of women's shoes.
Shoe problem solved!

Bought this shoe rack for my boyfriend and I because we have a substantial amount of shoes- the rack went together really easily, I put it together myself with a hammer, seems sturdy now that it's finished, and holds all our shoes in a place we don't have to see them so that's great! Only thing I would mention is that any stiletto heels of any height look awkward on the shelves and the heels themselves hang down into the next tier. Also, shoe boxes will not fit on these shelves at all, so if you plan on saving your boxes, you have to figure out somewhere else to keep them.

Worked out well for what I wanted. It's a little too narrow width wise to fit 3 pairs of shoes across but a great way to display all of my heels that I love! The bottom of my closet door is not on a track so the extra weight has it leaning back into my closet. Will have to find a way to push out the bottom of the door.

My son requested this item after moving to California and only able to afford a one bedroom (small) apartment with not as much closet space as he was use to living at home. He is most definitely a shoe man so this has really come in handy for him.

Great product. Easy to assemble. I have a size 9.5 foot so my heels were a little bit hard to stack correctly without taking up space in the racks below. Overall would buy again if my shoe collection grows.
