I ordered this and it is what is says until you get to the tires... The TIRES shown are NOT the tires on this walking. The tires on this walking are HARD flat black plastic and have NOT RUBBER on them so they slip very easy even when the brakes are on.

Ordered this product because we already own one Lumex Walkabout and have the need for an additional one. We have found the walkabout to be a good product and especially like having the seat, it has been very handy. The only drawback we have with the newer walkabout is the type of wheels on the product. The older one had soft rubber on the wheels and the newer one has hard rubber. This change in wheels has caused us some problems and we feel that the product works and rolls better with the soft rubber wheels, so if you are buying this type of product you might pay special attention to the type of wheels on the product.

I have been walking with a very bad gait pattern for about 40 years after a car accident (brain stem injury...) This walker is solid, well made and it allows me to think about what my feet are doing, making necessary corrections, instead of worrying about falling over. Thanks!!
Great for a big man!

Really great product. Very sturdy, great quality. Delivery on time. Looked at many different brands and models and prices. This one always finished first. Would recommend it to others. I am a big man and this walker really holds up well.

I use the Walkabout in several ways. Of course I walk with it, and due to my size (320#)and arthritis problems I sit often while using it. It is very comfortable even for long periods of sitting. The back support could be better designed for depth and comfort. I took mine off and find no real need for it. It could use a velcro strap or something for keeping it closed when folded. I am totally pleased and would recommend it to anyone. My work requires that I often have to address an audience and have found that the Walkabout permits me to use it to get onto the stage and then a place to sit while I speak. My hosts no longer have to supply a stool for me. I have often been complimented on its strength and versatility.
Walking now with walkabout

had a smaller model of walker and was not realy able to use it, made cheap and unsturdy I was afraid of falling still. Now with my walkabout have been out with my friend on trials many times and doing well. It went together well, all things fit and the slots for screws had been drilled to fit the screw heads so they are secure unlike the other one I had. pretty easy to load in car, so far have to put in the back seat does not fit in my trunk like the other one did, yet its bigger also.
Love it!!! A Ten!!!

Love it! It has expanded my world! It came promptly in a big box and was easy to put together. I can push it on tile or wood floors with two fingers yet it is big enough and sturdy enough that I don't worry about it. I don't need it at home so I keep it in my car's trunk and it is easy to lift out and use. I can walk much further because I don't panic that I won't have any place to sit. My husband can push me in it if I need it. It rolls silently so my service dog heels easily beside it. It's true that it won't go through my house doors but it goes through retail, bathroom, museum, etc. doors. I would buy it again and recommend it.
Do not buy this rollator
Atlantamary from Atlanta, GA
This rollator is well constructed but has one huge problem. They changed the wheels on it from the one pictured on the web site. The new wheels are very slick and do not hold on cement, wood, or linoleum floors. It does ok on carpet. The only way I can get up from it is by backing it against a wall. This is not safe to use if you have any substantial mobility problems.

Helps to get around in the kitchen and cook since seat is higher than my wheelchair.
