Somewhat disappointed after 10 months Bought this in February 2010. Initially, it was a vast improvement over our old couch, but just under a year, we are seeing some issues. I like: - Easy to clean - Looks very nice Don't like: - Leather is heavily coated with polyurethane finish. It's described as "lightly coated" but the finish is way to slick and you slip around a lot on this. - Leather on one of the cusions is already starting to crack. When inspecting the crack/split, it looks whitish underneath so I question the grade of leather. It is not a result of abuse, or the natural wear lines of leather. It does not seem durable as leather should be. - Cushions/seating is waaaay too soft. This may be just personal preference though. I hunted for a decent couch for a long time, and many peoples couches that are 8 years old seem to be holding up better. I will contact the manufacturer about the 2 year leather warranty, so I will see how that goes. |

Not high end but not terribly expensive. Very nice looking but the construction looks to be less than quality and NOT as described. It has sinuous springs vice webbing and is NOT solid hardwood. Portions of the frame are particle board and the leather is thin. |
