We just bought the 4WD set for a month long trip to Turkey. We had pullman-type luggage forever but wanted a spinner set. We did hours of research and read every review for quality and durability. We happened upon Heys and all we can say is outstanding! It held up very well for our trip, which involved several flights, a bus trip from Izmir to Bodrum, and hotel handling. There were also numerous zipping and unzipping of each piece (packing and repacking at each of the four cities that we visited). I was concerned a little about some zipper and durability issues from some of the reviews I read on this site and other sites. No problems with zippers (we had to get used to the hardside since all of our previous luggage was softside-so a little different-zip and unzip a little slower and make sure the top and bottom halves are lined up). The zipper tab on one of the carry-ons did fall off, which I can see from the design. A pair of pliers to tighten the tab to the zipper-head will avoid any problems. There are some scratches, that are normal for hardsides as I understand it. We travel a lot, most internationally for work and holiday and I would recommend this luggage to anyone. Easy to move everywhere (airport, city streets, crowds, you name it); greater spinners (easier to pull behind on heavy carpet); handles feel weak but are not-they "give" which is normal (another issue based on previous reviews but I think the reviewers where expecting something super ridged); very lightweight; incredible capacity (and we never used the expansion zipper in spite of being loaded down with gifts and souvenirs); very easy to spot among other luggage (and we had a couple of experiences with this-anyone who travels internationally will know what a luggage belt looks like!); carry-ons fit easily in overheads; and very stylish (we received several comments about "how cool" our luggage was). FOR THE PRICE, NOTHING COMES CLOSE. If want to pay more money for a heavy, stiff, hardside with spinners look at the other brandnames you've heard before (Samsonite, etc.). Just a note: We used only the 21" and 26" cases. Since, we do a lot of international travel we plan to sell the two 30" because they're huge! (but airline ok if not overpacked). We did not use the 30" cases but I bet they would be great for family, long holidays, but I cannot imagine having that much stuff since the 21" and 26" hold a lot. I purchased this set because it was the ONLY lightweight set that seemed to meet the airline specs for carry on bags, one 24", one 20". [...] I usually use 2 bags to travel, the largest carry on that is legal and one large check bag. This set has the inline wheels and is larger, and lighter weight than other sets I saw that were the same HEYS Fuse 3 with spinner wheels. The way the wheels were recessed allowed the most internal space that I was looking for. The smallest bag is a bit smaller than the smallest airline check bag minimum; but, about right when expanded. The 24 inch bag will be used on my first trip and just meets the minimum for the flight I am taking. I often have trouble keeping the check bag under 50 pounds, so think the 29.5 inch bag will be just right, due to the construction and light weight design. We puchased the Heys luggage for a 3 week trip to Europe. After being tossed onto 6 planes, 2 trains, busses, taxis and car trunks, it was as good as the day we purchased. It rolls easily, pulls easily and the zippers held strongly and securely. Besides being a very functional set it is also looks very good. This set of luggage was very durable and performed beyond expectation. It seemed to do better than my parents Samsonite luggage. After arriving in Seattle, we found ourselves several blocks away from our hotel. After wheeling the set several blocks, and a small trip on a street-car, it still was capable of being wheeled smoothly. The only thing that did not impress me was the piggy-back feature. It only seems to work well if you wheel them together upright. If you wheel them at an angle, then it seems they all get tangled up. Despite that drawback, I would recommend it to anyone. It is not only stylish, but it is of very high quality at an affordable price. My parents are going to get rid of their Samsonite luggage, they bought recently, and replace it with this!"..."  Read more
