I purchased this set because it was the ONLY lightweight set that seemed to meet the airline specs for carry on bags, one 24", one 20". [...] I usually use 2 bags to travel, the largest carry on that is legal and one large check bag. This set has the inline wheels and is larger, and lighter weight than other sets I saw that were the same HEYS Fuse 3 with spinner wheels. The way the wheels were recessed allowed the most internal space that I was looking for. The smallest bag is a bit smaller than the smallest airline check bag minimum; but, about right when expanded. The 24 inch bag will be used on my first trip and just meets the minimum for the flight I am taking. I often have trouble keeping the check bag under 50 pounds, so think the 29.5 inch bag will be just right, due to the construction and light weight design. We bought the chocolate set and LOVE it! We were hesitant buying a set that was more expensive after seeing all the latest deals in the stores right now that had more pieces but the quality of this set is wonderful. We used this luggage for a quick spa trip(only one piece) and then used 2 pieces for a long trip to Florida and GA. The 4 wheels are wonderful. Lugging 2 toddlers and a stroller and luggage through an airport isn't easy but you can basically push the luggage standing upright with the 4 wheels.
