Lodge 6-qt Dutch Oven
Leah from CA
I've only used this once, heavy pot and does everything you want from a dutch oven. I love the color of it looked nice on the dinner table for beef bourguignon!

This is my first enameled cast iron dutch oven and it works as well as it can seeing as I am still learning how best to utilize this piece. It is heavy, but not too unwieldy. Though the piece is dishwasher safe, I would follow the instructions and hand wash it's first ride in my dishwasher caused rust on the upper lip of the pot, though it did wipe off. Overall, fairly good considering the price range of this product.

I made a tomato-heavy curry in this pot, and it didn't stain at all. The pot heated the curry evenly and I was able to keep it simmering for a number of hours without burning anything!

I bought the 6qt Dutch Oven for a wedding gift. I'm pleased with the quality and color. However, I'm disappointed Lodge is making the Dutch Oven in China. Had I known I don't think I would have purchased this product!!! Wayfair's delivery time and service was very good. I will purchase from them again.
Lodge Dutch Oven

I have been debating about what enameled caste iron dutch oven to buy for a long time. Finally decided on this one, as the price was so reasonable. I have it in green and use it several times a week. It cooks beautifully and cleans up easily. Love it!

Christmas present for my daughter. She loves it!
As good as LeCreuset
Juel from Norlina, NC– Verified Buyer
I have many pieces of LeCreuset but this piece of Lodge is as good, if not better. It is certainly as heavy as a comparably sized LC. The handles are larger making it easier to move comfortably. Lodge makes great cast iron, in America, I think. Do not hesitate because it seems inexpensive-you get more than your money's worth with this pot.
Solid dutch oven but too heavy
HARRIET from New York, NY– Verified Buyer
The dutch oven is very plentiful and durable. It cooks well and I recently made a delicious stew that remained on the stove for 12 simmering hours. My only concern is the fact that iron, while very solid and conducive, weights between 8 and 12 pounds and even more when filled with food. However, for the price one could not ask for a better product.
Wayfair Color is Wrong
Kelly J. R. from Manawa, WI– Verified Buyer
I have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the Lodge dutch oven. However, don't let the photo on the Wayfair website fool you. The photo looks orange but the actual dutch oven that comes in the mail is brown. If you look at the outer edges of the lid on the Wayfair photo, THAT is the color the whole dutch oven will be.
Essential pot to have in one's kitchen
Barbara from San Diego, CA– Verified Buyer
I have bought several books cooking for dutch ovens and one pot meals. It is great to make one meal in one large pot with lots of vegies, chicken, and some potatos. Comes out delicious and it is very easy to clean. Great for warm, healthy meals in the winter. Even though I am single, I made enough for 4 servings and freeze 2 servings. This Lodge Dutch oven was much less expensive than brands I have seen at other stores and I believe just as good quality.
