This cage is like a mansion for our pet lop (rabbit). She is about 5 pounds, 2 years old/fully grown, and looks like a dwarf in this cage! She has enough room to stand completely up on her hind legs when standing on the platform and she absolutely loves to hide underneath it! We have a full sized litter box for her in one end and she still has plenty of room to lay out fully stretched, with hind legs out behind her. The hay bin is something she is getting used to (we've only had this for a week) and the dish is great since she hasn't learned how to tip it over. Hopefully she never will! It seems like she won't though as it is fairly secure when on the holder in the platform. The cage top is a brilliant design. Opens for easy cleaning and access to our bunnies litter box, food, toys, etc. Also, our bunny loves the little door on the side to hop in and out at her free will during her play time. Sometimes we have a hard time getting her out of the cage (she hates being picked up) because she likes it so much! Our only issue with this cage was that the water bottle does not work unless you squeeze it, we had to get our bunny another bottle. The second issue was that one of the plastic "tabs" that help hold the platform in place, under the wire, was broken off. It was a small part but still, ordering something new, you expect it to be in perfect condition. Overall it is an awesome cage, huge, sturdy, and was easy to assemble. The broken parts were a fluke which is bound to happen from time to time. Going to contact Wayfare to see if we can get replacement parts.
Great for a guinea pig or small rabbit

This really is a great deal! This is the cheapest place I found this XL cage plus there was a free shipping special. Can't beat that! The design is really slick, and it goes together easily. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Once together it is very sturdy and made of good quality material. The cage is very easy to clean. You have the option to open the top of the cage or the sliding door on the side. My kids just use the top.as the sliding door is a bit stiff until it gets worn in from use. Love the top which keeps the little kitties out and away from the little critters. Plenty of room for a guinea pig or rabbit, just make sure you get them out every day to run around in a larger area for a little exercise (as you would need to with any cage). No complaints here. When have been through 3 different cages and this is the best cage available on the market that we could find which met our price range, size, ease of cleaning and sturdiness requirements.

I looked at so many bunny homes in so many places and I am very happy with this one that I finally chose. I have only one rabbit but EB is a fairly big girl when she stretches out so I wanted something roomy and this was ideal. She even has room to do bunny zoomies in it. We both love the hideaway space under the shelf and the domed top allows her to stand up even when standing on the shelf. It was very easy to assemble and is easy to keep clean. I am very pleased with my purchase and Wayfair's price was the best. I would recommend this habitat to anyone. Best price, easy to assemble, spacious and well constructed. None

I bought this last spring when I realized my rabbit needed a bigger home. She sat on the floor and watched me put it together and as soon as I set it up she hopped in and explored every corner of it! She loves her home now! It is very airy with good air flow for warm days. It has a hidey-hole for retreating into. She loves sitting on the platform to eat. The two hinged roof sections make cleaning a breeze. The dish is a stay-put style that really does stay put. I found 2 draw backs: 1) the directions for putting it together are dreadful, you have to be very intuitive; 2) the way the front door locks shut is difficult & could be improved upon. But even with these draw backs I would buy this cage again if I needed to. Highly recommended!
I like it!...but

This is very nice rabbit cage. We put a divider in the middle, so we could put two rabbits in it. It was larger than we expected and very easy to assemble. Only thing was when we opened the package, plastic frame was cracked half way and some were chipped off (we used super glue to put hem together) . I'm sure the damage was done after it was shipped, but I think they should have put a protecton around the package since some parts are made of plastic, otherwise we are very pleased with this cage.

I purchased this fantastic cage for my HUGE French Angora. She needed something big, and this cage is working out great! She has plenty of room to hop around when she's not running around the house. I love the flip-top and she loves the hide out! Her giant litter box sits in the corner and she still has boat-loads of room! My only complaint would have to be with the food bowl. It says that it is locked in place so it can't be removed, but out bunny pulled it off every time we filled it and spilt her food everywhere. So we just removed the very chewed up bowl, and we now pour her food in the grooves that the bowl itself is suppose to rest on. I would recommend this cage to anybody who is looking for a high quality rabbit cage!

This cage was perfect size for my two piggies. I don't feel bad having them race around in it. I did remove the second level as no matter how much coaxing and food I put there- they wanted nothing to do with it. Plus I found they hid underneath it which would make it traumatic and hard when it was time to get them out for play time. So, It's nice to have the choice to remove it. Easy to clean, light weight enough to move on my own, keeps pet waste inside cage. The only downfall is the red wire cage part on top; when open it leans against my wall- which I noticed has left red marks on the wall.

I bought this for our 7 lb rescue bunny after reading all the positive reviews and visiting the big box pet stores and finding their cages to be all too small and just asor more expensive than this cage. And this cage is much better looking. Our rabbit is a little big to go under the shelf but she loves lounging on it and the attached bowl is great! There is plenty of room for her to jump around, while most of the time she gets to hop around the house, I don't feel bad when she does have to spend time in the cage because it's big enough. the only thing that could be improved is the water bottle. after a few weeks now it falls off because the clip is so bad. I have put on a new water bottle. I would highly recommend and buy this cage again!
Best Price Ive Found for Highly Rated Bunny Cage

So I've only just ordered this XL cage. At $92 with free shipping it is a great deal. Our local PetValu carries the Large (next size down) for $93 (as of May 2013). I plan to purchase an Ikea LACK coffee table (dimensions are 46.5 X 30.75) for $39.99. Ikea is just around the corner so we luckily won't have to pay shipping. This set up is for our first English Angora Rabbit. We could've just gotten the Large from the local shop but I wanted to make sure our little buns has room to move when in his cage. I am really glad that Wayfair carries this cage in XL, many other places (PetSmart and PetCo) do not.
good option for guinea
Julie Wood from Glendale, CA – Verified Buyer
The X-large cage is a good size for your guinea because they like space. But it also makes it more difficult to clean. I like the design but it isnt as sturdy as the smaller cage we just retired. I think this cage is well-suited for younger guinea pigs who can still jump and get around. It probably is not as well-suited for older guinea pigs who will not make use of the platform and stairs (which are too steep not enough slant). This cage is a good option for parents of multiple guinea pigs and who have the room to accommodate the large size. We have ours in our den and accept its presence simply because our pig is used to being there in the middle of all the action. Overall, its a decent option because of the space it offers but it is more bulky, more difficult to clean, and isnt as sturdy as I would like. But we have kept it and are making the most of it.
