I love this chicken coop. It’s a wonderful product. It adds some architectural perspective to our yard and makes it look very nice. We put in a fence and a rock wall around the coop. There are several predators in our area (bears and mountain lions to name a few) and we’re confident the coop and wall will protect our hens.
A big coop

I ordered this coop thinking with little more investment I would have a nice little place for my chickens. First it took almost 8 weeks for the house to be delivered and when it did get here it was damaged. After dealing with that I began to unpack it. The coop was made pretty good, out of nice lumber, plus side. It came with an already printed out instruction manual, but as the pieces started going together I realized something...the instructions would say 'assemble walls in order of lettering' I looked, no letters or numbers, but no problem the instructions have pictures. Carry on. Then I came to a part that said to use the pre-drilled holes, no pre-drilled holes. Strike number 2, so I was a little frustrated at this point but was determined to go to the end. With a little work I got the sides and trusses up, then I realized no door latch. Off to the store I went to see if I can find a door latch that would work on the already drilled holes. Long story short, I could not. So even though this coop is constructed of fairly good wood, the details of the building were missing and the coop could not be finished until some extensive modifications but all went fine in the end.
Our chickens love their new house!

Good quality! This chicken coop looks great. You'll need tools, building skills and a willingness to put in some time and sweat equity. We painted ours and put on a metal roof. Happy hens!

Love this coop. I checked out many online before choosing this one. Very well built and easy to put together. Only con: we ran out of roofing nails half way through and the specialty "small nails" have been hard to find. However in all fairness, I thnk my husband over nailed the shingles on.
