Good quality for the price - comfy mattress, too!

The bed arrived quickly, in perfect condition. Packaging was great. It required assembly - very easy & great instructions (which were on a gigantic piece of glossy card, with writing so big you would never need glasses to read it). The slats are wooden (they look like ash) and the bed frame is sturdy metal. The folding action is quite easy. The only think keeping me from rating this with a 5 star rating has to do with its engineering - more specifically regarding the wheels. For one thing, they are probably too small for this unit, they don't swivel very well, and I fear their plastic construction might be an issue if a heavier person uses the unit. Also, the position of the wheels has a curious effect on the stability of the whole bed when it is opened up. Although the two end "legs" (fold-out bars) are good quality and very sturdy, a person actually puts his/her weight on a bed in the middle, right? The middle of the bed is supported by the middle bars with the little wheels. Note that the little wheels don't come right out to the outer edge of the bars (that's because the bars curve at the corners, probably for strength, being that square corners might crack). So, any weight being supported on the wheels is not at the edge (side) of the bed, but rather inset a few inches. If a person, while getting into or out of the bed, scoots too far towards the edge of the mattress, the whole bed rocks in that direction. However, I have a plan for how to support the edges better, and I'm looking forward to using this nice bed for holiday visitors.
Great value for this folding bed!

This order arrived quicker than we anticipated and was well packaged. After reading the previous reviews, I anticipated having to assemble it, but we pulled it out of the box and it was completed assembled! What a nice surprise! We simply attached the wheels and were done. We ordered this for our adult daughter (5'9") who will be visiting for the holidays. When both my husband (6'2") and I (5'5") tried it out, we felt it will work great for her. It is MUCH more comfortable than the blow-up bed we put her on last year. It very easily rolled into the guest room closet for storage, not taking up too much room at all. The slats seem like they will be plenty sturdy for our use, but as others said in their reviews, I would not let toddlers or small children jump on it, as I would anticipate the slats breaking.

This bed is used in the office when guests stay with us. The bed is sturdy, and fairly comfy. You can't let children play on it as they may break the slats underneath the mattress. We bought a memory foam bed topper. It's a little big, but it helps make it extra comfy. It is a narrow bed; my son (about 5'11'' 130lbs) was fine, but a bigger person may feel restricted. It did come with the wrong hardware. Easy to fix, but it shouldn't have happened. I read a few other reviews had the same issue. It folds easily, and I've had no problem with the locking mechanism at the top. I made a nice cover for it out of a large piece of dark blue cloth. :)

This is a great idea for a spare bed without spending a whole lot of money.... Wish the mattress was a little thicker and of better quality as far as comfort goes. It is very sturdy.. And real easy to put together.
Not bad for a few nights

We bought this to use in a pinch when we had more guests than usual. Our guest said it was very comfortable, but it was much lower to the ground than I had expected (my fault, as I am spatially challenged...). Not recommended for older guests who might have a challenge getting up and down. But a great alternative to an air mattress, especially when space is tight.
Luxor Folding Bed

We purchased this for a grandchild to use at our home. It works really well for that - is easy to set up and store when not in use. When in use it can be folded up with the sheets and blanket remaining in place.
Great rollaway bed

This bed is comfortable and easy to store. It was easy to assemble and my brother uses it as his primary bed since we have a small place and needed something affordable and easy to put away when not needed.
Exactly as advertised
Sally from Columbus, OH
The beds are exactly as advertised. I read lots of reviews and pros and cons and thought that the beds would be just right for visiting grandchildren who found them comfortable. Customer service was very responsive in replacing the one bed that arrived damaged. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
Comfortable and sturdy

Nice Spare Bed
Miss Carol from Finger Lakes Region NY
Easy to assemble, compact and light weight - just what I was looking for as a spare bed when we need it. It is compact enough to fit into a closet, but large enough for an adult to sleep comfortably. Deep pocket sheets are bit big, but they can be easily folded under the mattress. The wooden slats offer good support. Highly recommend.
