I bought this cart in the color wenge. It is more beautiful and rich looking in person. I bought this cart to replace a cart I bought at Ikea about 5 years ago. The Ikea cart was really a laundry cart with a particle wood top. I use this cart in my salon for a tabletop water cooler and coffee maker. The top of the old cart kept getting wet and ruining the top, so I found this cart with a real granite top. There were many carts with a faux granite top that cost more than this one did, but I'm glad I bought this cart. The wenge color is more like a rich reddish brown and it matches the salon furniture perfectly. I love this cart, it has a wine rack, a drawer for forks, spoons, wine opener, etc. I use the basket for the coffee pods and cups. It fits great in small spaces, and has a very elegant stream line look. Someone said this cart was hard to put together, I did not find that to be the case. I thought it was very easy to put together. Don't get intimated by all the pieces, all of the pieces are labeled by letters. Follow the pictures on the instructions and make sure all of the letter pieces are lined up correctly and you will not have a problem. You will need a screwdriver and when you are ready to put the wheels on, hit them one time with a hammer, to make sure they are thoroughly attached.
This is a great buy

I have a small, crowded kitchen -- which stinks, because I love to cook, and a shortage of counter space makes it tough! I don't have a wad of $$ to do a complete kitchen remodel -- but I wanted to do something to give myself a little more working space. So I started looking at kitchen islands and carts. Most were either TOO BIG or TOO EXPENSIVE! -- until I found this one on Wayfair. It looked good and the price was a steal, so I decided to give it a try. It arrived much quicker than I expected, well packed and with all parts included. The toughest thing about this little baby is -- you have to assemble it: and God bless my handyman brother, who did that for me -- but even with the right tools and my helping him interpret the instructions sheet (no words, just line drawings) it still took him a little more than an hour. But it came together, is extremely sturdy, rolls nicely on its casters, and the colors in the granite top came to life when I wiped it down with a multi-surface cleaner and a soft cloth. The light wood finish is nothing special but it looks like standard butcher block fare except that it is varnished to protect it from stains. Score! Love it! Thank you, Wayfair, for another great deal : ) Pros: Great value, good looking Cons: Assembly (and much patience in the process!) required

All in all we're pretty happy with this functional little cart. It was relatively easy to assemble although the directions weren't clear enough and resulted in some reassembly. The only major criticism we have is that there were no "buttons" included to fill the rather large bolt holes that are now visible on the sides of the cart (12 in total) leaving it with a somewhat unfinished look! We reported this issue to the manufacturers rep and recommended that they include these buttons in the future but for now I guess we'll just have to go out and buy some ourselves. Also wish it came in different colors//finishes to match other darker kitchen decors.
Linon Ledgeview Kichen Cart with Granite Top
Myra R. from Santa Rosa, CA
My husband and I needed to work together to overcome errors in the diagrammatic instructions- and there were multiple errors. For starters, the manufacturer failed to indicate back, front, top and bottom on the assembly steps. For those of us who are not carpenters, it made the assembly very difficult and time-wasting. A person needs more than two hands to drop in the nuts and screw the pieces together. The wood is poorly matched and there was minor damage on several of the pieces. The granite top is a nice touch, but is only attached by two small dowels. Adding some type of adhesive might definitely secure the top better, as another viewer suggested. The overall look of the cart is very appealing and does allow us to get bowls of fruits and fresh veggies off our kitchen counter, creating more work space. Personally, I would have paid a little more for better-matched and higher quality wood.
Great product for the price

Our natural wood cart arrived just a few days after ordering. All of the pieces fit together well, and most of the pieces were of decent quality. However, two pieces had defects in the wood joints, so we requested replacement parts, which arrived in about a week and were ok -- not great, but ok. Each long piece is jointed in several places, and no effort was made to match the wood. The parts we had replaced had bad-fitting joints that were puttied over and stained an odd yellow. The ones that arrived to replace them had badly matched wood but at least the joints were not defective. The cart comes in a dark stain also, which likely won't have the same issues ours does with bad wood joints, but we wanted to stain ours pecan to match our kitchen instead of using the dark version. Note that if you are going to stain your natural color cart, it comes with a clear coating that does not take stain well. We used MinWax tinted finish instead of stain, and with several coats we achieved the color we wanted. All in all, it's a good product for just over $100 if you're willing to request replacements for bad parts. The wheels work well, the granite top is excellent, and the drawer and shelves are just fine. It fits inside our pantry, right under the counter-height shelf, and serves its purpose very well -- wheeling out cooking materials from the pantry to the stove area.
Great product with unbeatable price!

Based off of the description and other reviews I expected the product to be kind of on the red side, but with the amazing price considering genuine granite I bought it anyway. To my delight it shipped here quick and without a scratch and is a rich brown with a hint of red. I am super happy! It feels strurdy too. I only wish the detailing was a little more spot on. There are parts where you can see where it has been assembled on the legs etc. Pros: Real granite, great price Cons: Less stylish than more expensive products
Great microwave cart but parts smelled awful
Erica from San Francisco, CA – Verified Buyer
There was a really strong stench coming from the box before it was even opened. It smelled like gasoline or some kind of industrial chemical, and it turned out it was coming from the wheels/casters (maybe the rubber and/or the grease?). The odor was so overpowering and nauseating we had to throw the wheels away. Other than that, the cart was easy enough to assemble, looks good, and is sturdy enough for a microwave. It is fully functional without the wheels as a stationary cart. I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the smell.
Attractive cart, beautiful granite top
Hans from Jackson, GA – Verified Buyer
The size is just right for my microwave, it looks and feels fairly high quality, and the granite top surpassed my expectations--really beautiful. It arrived very well packaged, so no damage. Assembly took about two hours. Make sure to study the instructions for a few minutes first because there are a couple of steps that may trip you up if don't pay attention to the subtle details. During assembly, the cart's frame felt sturdy enough. But after putting on the granite top--it must weigh 20-25 pounds by itself--and adding the weight of my microwave to it, it seems slightly less stable now, and I am a little concerned that it may be too top-heavy. That is the only reason I didn't rate it five stars. I've been using it for about two weeks, though, and so far, it works well and meets my needs. Well worth the price.
Nice but some issues
Cristina from Blue island, IL – Verified Buyer
This is a very pretty cart with a REAL granite top, which actually surprised me because other items I ordered with "marble" tops were imitation. The cart looks so nice in my kitchen. Put together easily in an hour by myself. Probably faster if I had someone help. Issues- mostly allen wrench needed to put together, which is great, but one of the screws was missing the stamped whole, so part of the cart isn't secure. Overall, it was pretty easy to put together.

My son needed a microwave cart since he did not want to take up space on his kitchen counters with a microwave. This was good quality for the money and a perfect size to fit in the corner of his kitchen. The height of the stand is high enough so one doesn't have to bend over to place items in a microwave. Plus the added feature of a wine rack and extra shelving made this even more attractive. Very pleased with the purchase
