The Great: This wheelchair seems solidly made and has some real good features for the price:
1) Upholstery is very good.
2) Lightweight and easy to get in and out of car and folds up easily.
3) Very impressed with the Hand Rims. Not your ordinary slippery hand rims. They are odd shaped and easy to grab.
4) Push button quick release axles work well.
The Not So Great: Depending on your height and how you use the wheelchair, it might not fit you well:
1) There is no ability to adjust the rear wheel height.
2) Not sure about the Standard front Casters, But I purchased with frog Legs Suspension and I can't adjust front height unless I get smaller wheels which I am definitely going to do.
3) When certain parts wear out or need replacing, not sure if they will be available aftermarket. For example, The Hand rims have 8 mounting points which make them sturdy, but I have never seen aftermarket hand rims with 8 mounting points.
The Potentially Very Bad:
1) The Brakes are good in that they are easy to work pull to lock not requiring a lot of force. However, and this is a Big However, there seems to be no adjustment to tighten the brakes. Right out of the box, on a light incline the wheel locks are unable to hold the wheel chair and keep it from moving slightly. As the tires wear out this is only going to get worse and is a potential Safety Issue.
Not necessarily good or bad depending on how you look at it. It is made in Thailand.
The wheelchair has features that some more expensive wheelchairs don't have, but it does come with some limitations also. If the Manufacturer made a few design changes, this would be an excellent wheelchair. The wheel locks are definitely a potential safety issue.
I am giving it a 4 star rating issue, however if you are purchasing for someone that could be unattended and you need solidly working wheel locks on any inclines, it might not be the best choice."..." Read more
