This is an excellent fixture for the price. The only short coming is the fact that there are no plastic around the holes where the chains pull through so they catch and bind. I cut nylon wall anchors to size and hot glued them in place so the chains will glide more smoothly through the holes. I think the add says medium base for bulbs but they are small. I must say they really look great on my ceiling fans and have added to the look of the room. All I can say is wow and you should hear the comments from my friends on the new look of the place!
