Heavy duty compostor
Richard from San Jose, CA– Verified Buyer
I bought this as a gift for my wife and read the reviews prior to making the purchase. I wanted a good product that would be sturdy and last many years. I believe this product will do just that. As for assembly, I am very handy and put many things together and thought it would take less time then mentioned in the other reviews. But as it turns out they were right on the money with 3 hours. If I had to assemble a second composter I am sure I could reduce my time by at least half due to familiarity with the product. A lot of my time was spent deciphering the pictures to determine what the intent of the step was. Most steps don't have written instructions just pictographs. This is not bad until you get to the lid (about the 5th step) then at the bottom of the step there is a note not to drill the holes in one of the pieces (oops just a little late). Up to that point every step was do this to both pieces ( this caught me off guard) but as it turns out it is not the end of the world if the lid gets these holes drilled but none the less I hope this saves someone from making the same mistake I made. I have not used this yet so I cannot comment on how well it works, but it should be fine.
Takes two to assemble.

No problem with durability and this is a good size; took at least a few hours to assemble--and that was with my brother-in-law, who had already assembled to of these for himself, and you definitely need two people to assemble it. Neverthelss, I would definitely recommend this composter. Its now about half full and getting harder and harder to rotate, but still far easier than manually turning over the compost.
Lots of assembly
Greg Davis from Gardnerville, NV– Verified Buyer
The product seems to be of pretty good quality. There was lots of assembly required. According to instructions, it required two people but I had not problem doing it myself but then I am tall with long arms. Someone of shorter stature my require a second person. Some of the diagrams in the instruction manual did not match up to the actual assembly. Also, I found it quite odd that they didn't pre drill the holes that were required for assembly. They included a drill bit and asked you to do your own drilling. It was also odd for them to ask you to insert a plastic plug into some holes used in the manufacturing process instead of them doing that themselves!
lifetime tumbler composter

This is my second tumbler. I broke the first one by loading it with too much water. (Hint) We have problems with roaches getting in our compost and with the above ground composter there are none. It is very easy to use and does the composting in a short period of time.
Very well built user friendly composter
Doreen from Pflugerville, TX– Verified Buyer
I'm very happy with the design and quality of this product, however, the assembly was excessive. My husband spent half a day putting it together. It comes with about 50 screws. So if you have someone who is willing to assemble it its a great tumbler. It's built well and spins perfectly. The large opening is easy to add and take out compost. And it locks in place easily so it doesn't move when scooping the compost.i love it! Hope it lasts a lifetime!
8.7 cubic Ft. Tumbler Composter

I bought this for a Father's day gift for a ``serious` organic hobby farmer. Assembly was time consuming, but the end result is well worth the time and money. Sturdy, well designed and best of all off the ground and rodent proof!
Difficult to Assemble
Shelley from Lewes, DE– Verified Buyer
This is a great composter - nice size and everything. The glitch is assembly; it is difficult. The instructions only show pictures and do not give dimensions of parts, so it's kind of a guess. We had to disassemble a couple of parts and start over to get it right. This is why I only rated it a four star product. Functionally, it's great but be prepared to take a while for assembly.

It is a little hard to put together, not bad just take your time. But I love mine it sits up so I do not have to bend over to put stuff in it. I would recommend this one to anyone who is hobby farming or has a small veggie garden and you want to compost. This is ideal for that and it is easy to spin and empty.

I love this composter! No more turning over a bin of compost with a pitchfork. This great unit is at the perfect height so no bending over involved to load, unload or spin which is fun to do. Really sturdy construction.

Just got it built. It took a while & has lots of pieces but I got it done in a couple of hours. I've never done composting before so we'll see what happens.
