Very rarely did the regular furnace kick on as this heater managed to keep us at 70 most of the time. The fake fireplace front is very pretty but ours quit working after a few months. Wayfair was awesome about sending us a replacement heater very quickly and that is why I keep coming back to wayfair for my purchases! I love how easy it is to clean the filter in this unit and how cool the wood on the unit stays even when its cranking at full blast. Timothy from Atlanta, GA	3.0 12/19/2011 Not bad, not great either Product Review I have a large open floorplan house with high ceilings and its tough to heat when the temperature drops. I went ahead and purchased this heater because it gives a pretty big square footage for its heating footprint and it looks nicer than the average heater. I have had it for about a month now, heres what I find It does look nice, I have had compliments it. The fireplace look is attractive and not chintzy. It is also very quiet! The heating range however is not what I was hoping. It seemed to heat a large room nicely, when the temp was not too cold outside. But now that it is dropping into the 30s its doing just okay. The highlow switch doesnt seem to do anything, I guess its just changing the wattage and not the force of the air coming out. last night I had it set at 80, it was 36 degrees outside and the indoor thermometer by my sofa read 61. So, not bad but not great either. Still on the fence as to the return on investment, Ill need to see my next power bill! Service Review quick delivery. Yes, Id recommend but I would give caveats!
