Nearly perfect.... from Skokie, IL on 12/02/2014 – Verified Buyer
This cabinet looks good, much better than others near its price. The assembly was easy by following simple instructions supplied. However it needs some improvements. The finish on the doors is not complete; the light colored wood is visible near the inside corners. No touch-up varnish is supplied. The middle door is warped just enough to catch other doors handles when sliding. The sliding action is not perfectly smooth, it makes noises while sliding. The cabinet is not rigid enough, it is hard to keep it squared. Some reinforcements are badly needed in the corners. It will be nice if there is a provision to attach the cabinet to the wall to stabilize it and to prevent realisic, in my opinion possibility of falling forward. Also choice of finishes offered is rather limited. This would be nice to have a light cherry or teak options available. Overall this is a good piece of furniture. I rated it as 4 out of 5 because of the concerns above. It was dlivered promptly and in good condition. I would definitely buy again from Wayfair.

Holds my collection and then some. from Temecula, CA on 10/04/2013 – Verified Buyer
First off, they are not solid oak. They are MDF with the best looking oak veneer I've seen. That said, these are outstanding cabinets. I bought 3 for my extensive Blu-ray and CD collection (closing in on three thousand and counting,) and couldn't be happier! The machining on these cabinet is nearly perfect. They fit together perfectly and are easy and quick to assemble. Out of the 9 doors that were put together all but one fit square in the runners and the one that didn't simply required a slight adjustment of the wheel height and it, too, fit perfect. I did have one pane of glass (for the doors) arrive broken and it was replaced immediately, in fact, to be sure I didn't receive another one broken, the customer service person sent me two...just in case! In short, if you have lots of media and need a fine piece of furniture to put them in you simply can't go wrong with these cabinets.

Love this cabinet! from Twinsburg, OH on 05/11/2015 – Verified Buyer
Let me first say that I'm a "pro" when it comes to putting together furniture like this, so even though I agree that the assembly instructions could be written much better, they worked well for me. I'm only 5' 2" and I put this together with the help of a stool by myself in about 2 hours. This cabinet was actually easier to put together than a student desk I recently bought. After everything was together minus popping in the front doors, I was easily able to "waddle" the cabinet up against the wall across carpet where I wanted it. It easily fits our collection with room to grow and looks worlds better then the mismatched set of 3 smaller cabinets it replaced. Unlike others, I think the cabinet is very study and don't feel the need for wall anchors. We are very pleased with the quality and priced of this cabinet. Pros: Easy assembly, nice quality, very good value Cons: Not enough finish options.

Beautiful and Functional from Wesley Chapel, FL on 07/05/2015 – Verified Buyer
We purchased three of these cabinets. They are being used for dvds, but also for cds and cassette tapes. The adjustable shelves make endless combinations to fit your specific needs. They arrived packaged fairly well, just a few small dings visible that were easily corrected. We did have one vertical panel that was broken about halfway through. One call to customer service and the replacement part was ordered and on its way. We received it in about a week and it was exactly what we needed. Each unit took about two hours to unpack, check parts, and assemble. The instructions where diagrams only, but we had no difficulty in putting it all together. If you are not mechanically minded, it might be a little trickier for you. Two people made the assembly easier, but it would be possible to manage it alone. The units are well-made and the finish is very nice. We are pleased with our purchase and the customer service. We would not hesitate to do business with Wayfair again. Pros: Well-made, very nice finish. Adjustable shelves give endless options. Doors slide very easily and quietly. Cons: Packaging for shipping needs to be heavy-duty.

Like it so far- Itll be nice to lose the little plastic CD drawers! from Taunton, MA on 01/12/2014 – Verified Buyer
With others having had pieces delivered in bad condition, I wasn't glad to see a long gash in the cardboard. The double-boxing, hard plastic corners, & cocoon of styrofoam protected virtually everything, however. The one slight scoring was on a back cross piece, invisible when assembled. I was really glad I had a hand truck, as it was delivered to my driveway- At least it was left lying flat! Working excruciatingly slowly, due to having a bad cold, just getting over conjunctivitis, & some lack of confidence, this thing went together in 3 hours. With how many times I had to stop to sneeze (2ce each time, with astonishing force unrelated to assembly or any off-gassing, since I'd been sneezing all morning), that's remarkably fast. The tiny screwdriver enclosed with the parts box is just for the tabs holding in the glass. You'll need a regular sized Phillips head, as well as a blade to slice open the little parts bags & window glass boxes. Maybe have a nail set, so you won't get quite as tired pressing down to start the very few holes not already started. In my opinion, the directions were really well drawn, with minimal but very clear English terms added for emphasis. I'd add a couple of small pointers: Read the whole thing, count your parts & check that you have what's needed before ripping all the packaging apart. To prevent repeats of previous disaster, I now put all parts into plastic tubs, per assembly type: easy transport, less spillsloss, stands out from other detritus. For me, that becomes a little work kit, & breaks jobs into discrete functions, w encouraging serial success. Push in the wooden pins & screw the metal connectors into the receiving side (you too may not notice its phillips head right away). Then push both pieces together, & you'll be able to tighten the connection with the embedded brass phillips head. Not obvious, until you recognize it's only common sense. If you're too near-sighted to see the distinction in the drawing, the 2 longer metal connectors go from the cross braces into the center uprights, creating a slide-through bridge. When sliding the back panels in, tilt the entire unit forward, so you're not hitting the ceiling nor fearing to break the way-flexible sliders. Doing that may well loosen all yr connections again, so slide the panels up with yr foot & tighten everything up again. You may as well get it solid now! Also, when adding the top, I found it easier to set the wood pins into the verticals, then lower the top (with its metal parts screwed in) onto the whole thing. I just did not want to chase little wooden pieces blindly obeying the law of gravity! I also decided that I'd push in all the shelf pins & set the shelves prior to putting on the doors- It appears that the doors are extremely easy to put on & take off, but I didn't need to have any breaking glass. Considering this thing is made of solid wood particle board, I think it's well-designed, carefully made, & overall, lovely. Hope you enjoy yours!

Great cabinet, good buy for the price from Bethesda, MD on 02/18/2015 – Verified Buyer
PROS: Looks like the picture, came well packaged, easy to assemble, easy to hack (I added lights and modified the shelves for things other than media) CONS: the bottom piece came with a bit of a bow so it sits a bit funny; I expect it to flatten out in a while. Other comments: there is not a single screw or part that comes pre-assembled, including the glass for the doors, so it will take a bit longer than expected to put together. That said, this gives you the opportunity to modify the glass easily and do things like tinting, light mirroring, or frosting - which will make the cabinet look even better. A reader mentioned that there was some drilling to do for a few of the screws - not necessary. Most holes came pre-drilled, but the ones that didn't could be easily started with an awl. After I marked the holes with an awl, the screws went in without issues. All in all, it's a great cabinet for the price.

I love this cabinet!! from Fort Wayne, IN on 11/01/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is exactly what I was looking for. My DVD/CD collection had outgrown my entertainment center and CD tower, and I had them stacked all over the place. I wanted a storage system that would allow me to easily see where everything is. This cabinet is perfect. It holds all of my DVDs and CDs with plenty of room for more. It fits nicely against the wall in my cramped living room and the finish matches my new TV stand. The cabinet arrived well-protected in two heavy boxes. All of the parts were there and undamaged. It was not hard to put together - just a little tedious and definitely a two-person job. I love the glass sliding doors. Besides giving the cabinet a classy look, they are practically designed. There are tabs at the top that allow you to just pop the doors in and out without having to remove the top of the cabinet. The shelves are easy to put in and adjust, also. The whole cabinet seems very sturdy. I would have liked the base to be just a little wider, but I'm not worried about it falling over. I did fill it from the bottom up to keep it from becoming top-heavy. Overall, it is a nice-looking, quality product and I would happily buy another if I ever need more storage space.

Exceeded my expectations from VA on 09/17/2015 – Verified Buyer
After buying two cheaper shelves over the years (around 150 each) and having them break from the weight of the dvd's, I was extremely impressed with the quality of this cabinet. The material is surprisingly solid and heavy. The machining of the grooves/glass/etc is excellent. The directions look daunting when you first unfold them but it was straight forward. Put together in less than an hour. I got it in black and it looks really great. It looks like legitimately nice wood. Only complaint is one of the two boxes looked damaged (there is an outside box and an inside) so I had a moment of panic before I unpacked it. There was tiny amount of damage on the back of the frame, but it's invisible to anyone looking at it from the front or sides. I'm very happy with my purchase. Pros: Easy to put together, looks extremely expensive, high quality construction (much better than IKEA), easy assembly Cons: Box arrived severely beaten up

Very nice piece of furniture! from Smyrna, DE on 04/22/2015 – Verified Buyer
The reviews I read about this item were spot on. The instructions are simply awful. I thought after all the review comments they would have improved. Unless you've assembled this type furniture in the past, you would have a very difficult time because all you are given is a few pictures, which are misleading at that. With proper instructions, it is a relatively easy assembly. I did have a problem tightening the bolt into the socket. The round metal socket actually broke, but there was an extra included with the hardware. It was as if they knew there may be a problem. One if the handles had a small crack in it, but it was packaged very well overall. Although the box looked pretty bad, the pieces inside were well protected. Once assembled, it is a great looking piece and I am very pleased with the color and overall appearance. Pros: Looks great assembled and is very sturdy. Cons: Instructions are practically worthless!

Sliding Glass 3 Door Multimedia Cabinet from Charleston, SC on 04/20/2014 – Verified Buyer
High quality product that is good value for the price, Well designed, constructed with good and functional materials, and exceptionally well packed in double cartons. The assembly of the cabinet is relatively straightforward providing one takes some time upfront to identify all the parts and their functions, especially the hardware. The only downside during the assembly is that, surprisingly, no written instructions are provided, only a single page diagram with so much detail crammed on the page that it is difficult to discern the differences between the individual pieces of hardware (a magnifying glass helps!). Assembly would be made much easier if the manufacturer showed the main assembly steps on multiple pages instead of just one, which would allow the individual diagrams to be much larger and easier to read, especially with respect to the hardware. Overall, though, a nice piece of furniture for storage of media, so much so that I immediately purchased a second cabinet (2-door) to accommodate the rest of my DVD/Blu-ray collection!
