Beautiful product & would order again!

Arrived timely, easy to assemble (best with 2 people), quality workmanship, and VERY good price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is unstable when doors are open....cabinet really should be anchored to wall...especially with carpeted floors. We put one of those round furniture disks under each of the front legs. The disks are black and blend very well with the dark cherry finish...almost looks like part of the cabinet. Problem solved. Another issue is one of the side panels was slightly damaged and getting just that one piece wasn't possible...we would've had to ship everything back for a replacement. But Wayfair was awesome to work with in resolving this by offering a discount to keep it. The damage was easy to hide with a light touch-up using sandpaper & stain.

This cabinet went together very easily. Yes, it took some time for me to do, but I did it myself, and all the screw holes were true and everything fit together beautifully. The only problem is that it really is a tippy cabinet. Either anchor it to the wall (they provide the clip on the back of the cabinet and you will have to find a screw to put into the wall) or don't ever open both doors at once. Mine is on hardwood floors. But it's spacious, and it's beautiful.
Well made for the price.

I think it is really good for the price. It looks nice and is functional. We did have to screw it into the wall because it is tipsy, but that doesn't take away from it being a great product. It was darker than I expected. I ordered walnet and this is closer to danish walnut. It came quickly and was very well packed.
Really great looking dvd tower
stephanie from smyrna, TN– Verified Buyer
I wanted a classy looking dyd tower for my master bedroom that would hold a substantial amount of dvds but not take up a lot of space. It also had to be tall. In addition, I wanted it to look like it was a dvd storage case and not just a closed cabinet (I wanted glass doors).

I really like this cabinet. It was fun putting it together but then I like doing that kind of thing. It really looks good and is solid except for the back. However, it is not very deep so when the doors are open it falls forward. You do need to attach it to the wall to keep it secure. The I would have appreciated a lower price but it really does look good. I would recommend it.
A good buy but careful on carpet.

The wood is a laminate but looks very good and is solid. There are 8 shelves that rest on pegs. There are holes for the pegs all the way from top to bottom so no shortage of available shelf positions. I used 6 of them to have the correct height for 2 shelves of blu-rays and 4 shelves of dvd. I assume the 8 shelves would be about CD height if all were used. This is not an extremely deep unit and is rather tall so it is top and front heavy. It will tip over on carpet with the doors open in some cases unless anchored. It would probably be ok on hardwood with some weight in it. I had to use screws from a jar to anchor to the wall as it did not come with any for that purpose. Over all I am happy with the unit but in my opinion it would have been better an inch or two deeper, wider and shorter so it would be more stable on carpet.

time consuming to put together. many steps.
Amy from Iowa City, IA– Verified Buyer
Was able to put it together without to much trouble. The cabinet is front heavy so be prepared to make adjustments. The back of the cabinet is one piece of flimsy material, that is most likely why it is front heavy (along with the glass). But it is a very pretty and useful piece of furniture.
Very VERY happy!

I'm very very happy with the media cabinet. There was one little piece that came slightly damaged. It looks like it happened via in transit. Since I put it together I'm the only one that notices it though, so it's all fine and good. Assembly is way easy and hassle free. An all around good cabinet for the money.
Perfect piece for DVD storage.
Peggy from Lodi, CA– Verified Buyer
We had to bolt it to the wall for stability, but I love the design and it was the perfect piece for storing our DVDs.
