It's a solid wood with the exact dark finish I was looking for and the glass door hinges are great quality for easy open and close. Assemble of the cabinet was really easy, it was narrow and small enough for my apartment, it's so nice I'm planning on ordering two more to run side by side. By far the nicest media cabinet I have found for the great price.

Delivery was direct to my door with no damage to the cabinet and it had cardboard and additional wood pieces to cushion it in the box for protection.

Product is classy. There were some screw holes which were not tooled properly which caused me to have to do it myself. The doors slam pretty hard due to the design of the hinges, adjustable shelves are helpful.

Top Notch for the price. After putting this together, which was definitely easy, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this piece for the cost. I did wish that it was a taller piece, but this still works out perfectly for our DVD collection in our living room. It also ended up matching quite nicely with the current furniture's wood-stain color that we have. Its a bit red when looked at in direct sunlight. Please note - careful when you have both doors open and nothing in the shelf yet, as it will fall forward due to the weight of the doors. I just ordered a 2nd one now since we noticed we had a lot more DVD's than we thought. Completely worth the price if have a cherry/espresso finished furniture already.

I bought this cabinet to house my DVD's and a few old VHS tapes. The adjustable shelves were great for using it for different media. I did not put it together myself. But the person who did said it was not that complicated. And once put together, it looks like something I would have bought from an expensive furniture store. Infact, it blends in perfectly with an endtable, coffee table and credenza I recently purchased. Excellent quality.

The picture is deceiving, it looks like a luxury piece of furniture that has plenty of room, but it actually is very cheap looking for the price...its easy to put together but the door is flimsy... once it arrived I put it together and could not fit all my dvds inside it....the ad says it holds 180 dvds but if you have collectable editions usually the cases are bigger so it holds much smaller than 180. I am going to have to buy another one to match it with to put the rest inside. I think you can shop around and get a better deal, but it gets the job done.

The quality of this media center was better than we expected. Finish is quite nice and it was easy to put together. Wish there was a more solid backing to the unit, but it's what we expect with a DIY product. It was nice that they included a few spare screws and nuts in the package.

We now have four of these cabinets. They work great for our DVD collection.
