I recently purchased the Cambridge Entertainment Center online after spending several weeks visiting furniture stores and not finding a decent priced entertainment center that looked nice. I wanted one with a wooden back behind the TV as opposed to those that are open. The Cambridge one fit the bill and was exactly the right size. I looks as nice as those I have seen in the stores for twice the price. Be careful if you are trying to match it to existing furniture. We picked this item first and then found tables to match since it does not having matching coffee and end tables. We believe it matches extremely well with what we chose for the tables (Steve Silver Furniture - Kennedy End and Cocktail tables - they have the same pattern in the top of the table that this entertainment center has on its doors as well as the same rounded corners). Love that it is shallow in depth so that it doesnt take up too much room next to the walking area where we placed it. The wood is a beautiful rich looking cherry wood. The lights in the cabinets with the glass doors add a very nice touch as well as a nice smooth top which will make it easier to clean. This entertainment center was just what we needed for the space that we had. We were nervous about ordering online having not seen it, but we were very impressed with the quality. It is a nice warm color, a little more of a reddish tone than what is depicted in the picture, which we actually liked even more. The only negaative I would say is that the center door was mounted a little crooked so the knob does not line up with the knobs on the other two doors, but I plan to work on that and can hopefully fix it. Otherwise, a great piece of furniture. It came fully assembled as two pieces, the cabinet an hutch and was well packed. No scratches that we saw."..."  Read more

This unit came nearly fully assembled requiring only the attachment of the door handles. The use of easy to find furniture sliders, placed on the base made it simple to slide the unit into place. Our 51" Plasma TV fits perfectly in place and there is plenty of space for DVD storage in the 2 side cabinets.
