Love the lights, but design could be improved.

I installed these lights in the ground along a front walkway. The light is bright without being irritating, and is a nice, "yellow" light instead of the blue so frequently seen with LEDs these days. But, my husband and I had to add a small piece of wood in the end of each light to apply enough pressure on the contact plate to get the lights to actually turn on. We will be ordering more for use in our backyard, but there seems to be a design flaw that could be corrected.

The plastic cover for the solar is scratchable when you step on it with a chose therfore it will not survive or it will degrade by time
Does not work - at all
Consumer from North Carolina – Verified Buyer
Not even worth one star - but I had to chose a star to write a comment. We purchased two boxes of these lights. They do not work - at all. We put them along the side of the walkway leading up to our house. They receive ample sunlight. When I look out a night - one or two of them are lighted, but the light is minimal. The others have NO light - at all. Huge waste.
Nice solar solution

So far so good. We installed them in the ground to light up our steep driveway at night so we could see the edges of the driveway when backing in. Pros: Easy to assemble

Don't waste your money on these lights... Extremely disappointed, doesn't matter how direct the sunlight is they don't last, maybe an hour at best. Pros: Easy to install Cons: Don't last lit up
Over 6 months and still work

These lights ad an "edge" to my patio at night. It has withstood lots of rain and snow and they still look ok great. Will buy more.
