La Crosse Technology Wireless Color Forecast Station in Black
Good product except see below.
Pam from Vermont– Verified Buyer
This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He likes it except for the fact that the temperature goes up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, but does not go below -4 degrees Fahrenheit! We live in Vermont, where it gets much colder than that. It never goes anywhere near 140 degrees! Frankly, if I had known that it does not go below -4, I would not have bought it. Also, the trend arrows, such as the one on the barometric gauge, are very hard to see. The background is very pretty, but it's a bit too busy and it makes it difficult to read the numbers. I would recommend this product for people who live in locations with moderate weather patterns - not too hot and not too cold.
La Crosse Technology introduced radio-controlled clocks to the US market in 1991 and continues to be on the cutting edge of this technology across America. All of their weather instruments, clocks and watches are calibrated daily to the atomic time standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. All instruments default to fahrenheit, inches, mph and all atomic time pieces are tuned to a 60 kHz, WWVB radio signal in Fort Collins Colorado.
