Great adjustments, seat is hard I love the style and portability of this chair. I have a treadmill desk for my office but have found that sometimes I need to be able to sit and work and give my legs a rest. My desk is elevetad as it's usually used for standing, so I needed a high stool. This is great because I can adjust to just the height I need. It's also very low profile when I want to stow it. My only complaint with it is that the seat padding is very thin and my sits bones were hurting after a short time of sitting on it. I'm a petite person (5'-4, 115 lbs) and don't normally have this problem, but the slight tilt on the seat seems to cause more pressure on my sits bones. I found an extra piece of foam at home and put it on it when I sit down and it helps a million so I will probably do a little custom reupholstering to pad the seat a bit more. Other than that, it's a great stool for a great price! |

Great for Ironing This is the second purchase of this chair. My 90 year old Mom still irons all of her clothes and pillowcases. She had foot surgery and could not stand. She really likes this chair. The other chair is for my daughter who also has ankle pain, so although this chair is called an office chair it is great for ironing! |

Lots of uses for this chair I originally bought this to use when I used my jigsaw so that I wouldn't have to stand all the time, but also found out that it worked well when I played my guitar. And having it fold up is a gret plus. Solidly built, too. |

Works great for me Some people have commented that the seat is pitched a little forward, which it is very slightly, but I find that it is still quite comfortable and it encourages good posture. I am amusician and I use this as a performance chair, so the geometry is perfect. Its a little light, so its easy to transport, but it will probably wear out quickly. The cost is so low, however, that I plan to replace it every year or so. |

Back Relief - I can cook again! I have a back injury which makes standing for long periods painful, and the slight stoop to the kitchen counter or sink is the worst. I purchased this perching stool for my kitchen and it is such a relief! I have the seat set very high, so I am almost standing. It is light weight and easy to move around one-handed, but the way the seat and support leg latch onto the main pole it is extremely stable. It is not designed for sitting, rather you are partially standing but with relief for your back as you perch your rear against the stool. |

Nice Show Chair I bought this chair for doing my art shows. It folds up easily, is quite light weight, takes up little room and is sturdy. Perfect for this application! |

Astronomers Friend Great portability, perfect for adjusting to scope size. Might need a foot rest depending on your size and where you put the seat. |

Functional and compact We bought 2 chairs: they are lightweight and very compact for storage. They fold out easily with one hand, and work beautifully for our needs. However, they are not extremely comfortable for long periods of sitting. Great for the price! |

Astronomy Chair (Niveau Chair) Very sturdy construction and easy to carry to site. Investigating a larger padded seat for more comfort. It is almost as comfortable as my home made Denver clone chair. I recommend this chair if you don't have 3 extra days to build your own. |

Chair adjustments function well. The chair can be adjusted to several heights. I use it for telescoping, and binocular viewing.[...] |
