So Glad I Got this Stoner! I've pitted cherries with a paper clip for years. This cut the pitting time by 2/3rds. If you freeze your own cherries you will be glad you got this well built gadget! |

Doesn't work with large cherries This would not work with any of the local cherries we have in the area. The pits are too big to pass through the machine. |

Caution!!! Total waste of money for me! Our tree produces small tart cherries ideal for pies. The Cherrymat Stoner might work for larger grocery store cherries, but not ours. The seeds are rarely totally separated from the "meat," and the hopper doesn't have enough angle to feed the cherries under the plunger. They had to be fed in one at a time, and then separated one at a time. I plan to return this item...if I can find the receipt! |

It did the trick We have a cherry tree in our yard and the hand-held pitter I used last year took hours to get the job done. I pitted our harvest this year in about an hour. The tree is small so we picked about peck of cherries. It didn't make my hand tired and I was able to move through the process pretty fast. I LOVED the bin to catch the pits - this really reduced the cherry juice all over the counter and having to chase loose pits! Since cherries really aren't round they would get bunched up in the hopper from time to time and I had to use my finger to get them loose and moving down the shoot. The directions are translated into English from German so I didn't realize I was supposed to put the white "washer" in. When the cherries kept getting jammed in the hole leading to the bottom where the pits are held I re-read them and fixed my problem. I think this is just about perfect for smaller amounts of cherries. |

Cherrymat Cherry Stoner I wish I had ordered this at the beginning of cherry season instead of the later part. Works great & saved so much of my time. Thank you |
