It folds up and rolls folded do you can move it room to room without having to squeeze through doorways. Its all one piece so no assembly required. Grandmother to Seven from Houston,TX	5.0 6/20/2011 Great crib for traveling families This full-size baby crib is great for grandma's house, motel room, RV, or any place that needs a full size crib temporarily. It folds well and stores in a closet. The metal frame makes it strong and reliable. This crib could be used full-time in a nursery if you wished. It does not have drop sides, but most travel cribs do not. It is probably the strongest travel crib on the market. No assembly required. Just fold out, push casters in, drop in posture board, and add a mattress of your choice. I have purchased two in the past year. Great product! The portable crib, which is a little smaller, is built the same way. I think the portable model is superior to the fabric-and-mesh portable cribs that fold to the center like an umbrella. We are excited about the possiblilty of replacing most of them with folding cribs--- making both the Day Care and Church members happy.
