Kuranda Elevated Chew-Proof Crate Dog Bed - 84- X

Bought this one to fit in my office under my daybed. It is the perfect height and the same quality as the regular Kuranda elevated dog bed. Easy assembly especially if you don't want to wait for someone else to do it and the dogs were on it within 15 minutes. I have bought the three types of fabrics (vinyl, cordura & vinyl weave). All are very heavy duty, but if you are going to have it in the open where it rains, the vinyl weave would be the best. Other than that I have no complaints, just praise. Well worth the money.

So far our 9 month old puppy has not destroyed this bed. We purchased it for inside of her crate and she seems to like it. We have found a few teeth marks on the pvc frame from her chewing but it is going to take a lot for her to break through the frame.

Bed came in about a week from the time I ordered it.

This bed is great for my 4 year old female doberman. She is an unbelievably powerful chewer and destroys just about anything in mere minutes, but not even an attempt on this. Also, she is incontinent when she falls asleep with a full bladder, so this bed keeps her dry by allowing the urine to drain thru the mesh.

I've got two golden retrievers that pretty much reduce every bed to smithereens. So far they are totally flummoxed by the Kuranda beds. They don't even attempt to chew on them. I only wish I'd learned about them years ago. We probably spent $1000 on beds that our dogs happily destroyed over the years.

We have a wonderful dog named Angel since she is five weeks old. Angel is docile, loving and extremely loyal. The only thing that our 80 lbs dog like to chew on soft mattresses. We purchased this elevated bed and it is the first bed that she sleeps soundly in and cannot destroy! The first day it was weird for her, she smelled it and did bite into the piping and got no where. By day two and three she stopped completely. It's easy to clean and the set up takes about 20-30 mins depends on how good you are at this sort of thing. It is easy, no tools required and I loved that. I did while watching tv:-) this was by far the best investment we ever made toward a bed for our Angel. By the way since its lifted off the ground a few inches it Allows her body to fall into the fabric so it's not hard like a floor and she gets the benefit of comfort. Like she used to have with a mattress. We still used a terry clothe material Over it since it is a strong vinyl and she likes that. She doesn't tear the terry cloth only dog pillows. It's a wonderful bed, finally a bed my dog can't and won't destroy and is comfortable in!!

Super fast ! Loved it! A non issue.

Our 50lb lab/pointer mix had a nasty habit of destroying beds, so we decided to give this one a shot. She seems to find it comfortable and isn't able to tear it to bits, so we like it!

Others beds didn't last a day with my dog. This one passed the test with flying colors!

My German Shepherd has eaten virtually every bed I have bought him, but not this one. He loves it and so do I. It is as advertised, chew proof. He sleeps really soundly on it. Great bed.

This product was easy to assemble, and appears to be quite solid. At this point, the dog is still a bit wary of it, but were trying to coax her into snoozing on that instead of the couch. Due to the design of the crate that it was purchased for, it actually might not fit in unless it is assembled inside, but that isnt a huge deal. The material came with a 1 gouge in it already, but hopefully that doesnt harm the durability.
