Old Christmas tree stands required two people for set up - one to hold the tree steady and another to twist in the screws. Krinner's XXL Christmas Tree Stand eliminates all the of the hassle of setting up your Christmas tree. Simply insert the tree into the stand and step on the foot petal until the claws firmly grab the trunk. Lock the foot petal, add water and your Christmas tree is ready to be decorated. There is no assembly necessary and there are no screws required for tightening.

This stand supposedly supports up to a 12 tree, but I have to say that it is a bit wobbly with our 11 tree - I dont believe that it could support anything bigger.
