The Devonshire Towel Ring by Kohler is a high quality product that is not priced beyond most buyer's means. I had made the mistake of buying my first towel ring at a Home Improvement Store. Because I wanted a polished brass finish I had only one choice of product that ended up flimsy and constantly falling off the wall. The finish began rusting in only 4 months. That towel ring ended up in the garbage with my money wasted. The replacement was the Devonshire Towel Ring and the improvement is clear. The Devonshire Towel Ring stays on the wall all of the time. It is sturdy and the attachment method Kohler uses is superior. The French Gold and the polished brass finishes Kohler gives are excellent. All of these finishes by Kohler still look brand new years after installation. Yes you may pay a little bit more for Kohler but what you get in return is to me priceless. I really love this toilet paper holder. It is obviously sturdy and made of high quality material. We have the holder pointed "horizontally" rather than "vertically," which I think looks better. The holder offers plenty of room for even a thick roll. Also, my pet peeve with holders that have only one handle is that some designs allow the toilet paper roll to fly out if someone isn't careful when tearing off the sheet. That doesn't happen with this particular design. The toilet paper roll has no problem staying on. The open design also makes it very easy to slip on a new roll when the old roll is done. I ordered this along with a Forte Sculpted Glass Shelf and Forte Sculpted Toilet Tissue Holder to go in my newly renovated master bathroom. It is pretty, seems to be very sturdy, there were no problems installing it and have not had problems using it. It fits in well with the rest of the decor in my bathroom. I like the open ring design--I previously had a full ring towel ring and was hesitant to try this style, but am glad I did after all. In fact, I just ordered two more. I was going to just use these for hand towels, but decided to use them also with bath towels. I like the fact that it is fixed, as in, it doesn't swivel back and forth when the towel is removed, although I can see how some people might not like that. The Devonshire Towel Bar has the quality and superior design that you would expect from Kohler.Far superior to the junky polished brass bathroom towel bars that you will find in stock in [...]. I had sadly bought one of those and the towel bar's poor design made it fall off the wall frequently. The attachment hardware on it was cheap and flimsy. Not so for the Devonshire. The hardware is sturdy and designed to last. The vibrant polishEd brass color Kohler uses also looks far better than the other polished brass fixtures other companies use.
