The Design

The SM1 and SM2 Lounge Collections, characterized by quiet geometries, a novel, elegant simplicity and exceptional comfort, are equally ideal for reception areas and living rooms. “Our approach to furniture design comes from the pursuit of architecture—asking questions, solving problems, searching for the essential,” said Lee Mindel. • Frame constructed in 7/8" thick multi-ply plywood with sinuous seat spring suspension and matrix back suspension
• Arm, back and seat cushions fabricated in variable density foam with Dacron wrap
• Seat and back cushions filled with memory foam
• Round legs in solid ash hardwood in clear or black stained finish
• Double needle stitching on arms and back
• Single needle stitching on cushions in textile; double needle stitching in leather
• Available in a wide variety of Knoll textiles
• Settee will have matching seat cushions and frame upholstery. The settee is also available with the option of selecting one upholstery for cushions and another for frame upholstery
