The Risom Collection From Knoll ®

Danish designer, Jens Risom played an important part in Knoll's history—designing the very first Knoll chair in 1941. Incorporating a natural aesthetic, popular in Scandinavian design, Risom's first commissioned collection for Knoll was a range of simple birchwood chairs. His collection of lounge and side chairs remain some of Knoll's most popular pieces. With cotton webbing over a maple hardwood frame, comfort and style go hand in hand.
