So I shopped around and I found this table at a dining room furniture store as a 3 piece for [$], then I saw this table alone for [$] at a home outlet store. The outlet store only had this one on display and it was scratched so I opted to check the internet. BINGO! This table is the exact same thing and for the price, I had to get it. I also ordered the X-back chairs that are two tone as well. It matches perfectly. The price for the three piece was still $100 less than the dining room store. [...] When the box arrives you have to assemble the table but it's easy and fairly quick. The wood is sturdy. [...] I do have a four year old boy and sometimes have to remind him not to lean on the leaf part. It's only held up by a wooden slat so you can't treat it like a solid round table. I love this table. It's looks just as pretty in person as it does in the photographs. I don't have a dining room so it sits (as a 4-seater) in the corner in my large living room. It is easy to move around the room due to the wheels on one end of the table legs. But this is heavy table so moving without wheels would require at least two people. Even though it can be adjusted to a lower height, it is rather large (even folded to 4-seater) to be used as an ottoman in my opinion. The only complaint I have is with the ugly hinges when opened to full length and the difficulty in cleaning the table top. The veneer wood top has groves in it which makes it easy for things to get trapped in them. I cover my table top whenever in use."..."  Read more

This table is as beautiful as it looks in the picture!!! We shopped all over for a 54 inch round table for our breakfast nook...didnt want to spend thousands of dollars since it is not our dining room table and we have kids using it everyday. This table looks and feels like we paid thousands, but we didnt. It took my husband five minutes to put it together...great purchase! We needed a dining table for our newly completed room which is a second living room but also a alternate place to have dinner, especially in hot weather. So, we needed a table with a low profile but that could also expand to easily fit 8. This table is perfect for our needs. It has one leaf which is easy to remove and it has the two fold down ends. These are especially well designed as when they are extended there is nothing under the table to hit one's leg and the end lies perfectly straight with no gap or angle.
