I bought this table and 4 of the matching chairs (dark brown for the chairs) for my new Tuscan style home. I needed a centerpiece for the dining area, which is prominent in the home layout. In short - a home run. This table is substantial in every sense, and the subtle variation in the wood coloration is sublime. The trestle design gives elegance and further structure. The chairs are likewise heavy and well-made, and much better in person than in the small photo online which does not do them justice. Easily the nicest Tuscan style table I have seen.
