I spent an hour covering up the random gashes put into the table by what were probably some very bewildered employees at that factory. First make the lovely table, then stab it with sharp implements!
Distress comes naturally in the form of dents and delicate scrapes. If you have kids or if you are clumsy, in about a month.
The distress on one part of the table looked like a psychopath attacked it with his dinner fork.
Beyond that the table is well worth it. Five stars.
