I use this table in my very small "breakfast nook" right off my kitchen for my husband, daughter, and myself to eat most of our meals at. If I had room for a table that was a little wider, it would have been better as this one is a little cramped for three people but a larger table just wouldn't fit in my situation. If you are considering this table for three or more people, I don't recommend it as the legs are too close together to get up to the table comfortably on the ends. However, for two people, it's great! Seems to be holding up really well, liquids don't damage the surface and it is sturdy and not wobbly at all. Purchased this table for a small breakfast area. The table is more ivory than antique white, and is not truly "distressed" so if you are looking for a table that looks real distressed, this will not be the table for you. Very nice set. Just what I wanted. My first time buying something of this value and size over the internet. Their ad mis-stated the weight of the chairs - not 55 lbs. only 22 lbs. I bought the padded seats separately. Easy to attach the four table legs to the table. No tools required. Just one leg did not nest properly (about a 1/4 inch) gap remains. But it stands solidly and I put that corner on the side most people don't see. So this may not be for you if you are a total perfectionist. I would have exchanged this if the leg were the problem but the flaw in the construction is the table where the leg attaches so it would be too big a hassle to package up the table top and send it back."..."
