I replaced our 42" Dining table with a British Isles drop leaf table against my wifes better wishes. When I removed the table from the packing she left the house. I was pleased at the quality of the wood and the construction of the table. I assembeled the table in 10 mins. My wife returned and asked about some obvious marks in the wood. I told her it is designed to appear as stressed wood. Later that evening she phoned our daughter and told her "Dad bought me a beautiful new dining table". Very sturdy Table, beautiful curves. I like the Distressed Look. This table will fit well even in small spaces because of the 2 Leaf insets you can take out both or just one. It is a heavy Table, had to take out the leaf insets to lift and bring into the house. Overall I would buy it again. Good quality for the price."..."  Read more

Heavy, solid wood. I was extremely unsure about buying an 'investment piece' online but have already recommended the site and furniture to friends. I am a very picky buyer and searched everywhere-I was about to have a dining table custom made for us when I took the risk and bought online. The table scratches quite easily but I expected this due to the type of wood. I absolutely recommend this site and product.
