We have had a great experience with this dining room set. Installation was quick and easy, and the people putting it together were professional and thorough. I did end up puchasing an additional bench to make this set complete (I have two benches and 4 chairs) which makes it more than comfortable for entertaining! The only set back is the cleaning. I would not recommend this table for people with small children. We do not have any, but would expect this table to be difficult to keep clean. You need two seperate surface cleaners, one for wood and one for the glass inset in the middle. The glass is frosted and fingerprints are extremely noticeable, so if you have little hands crawling under your table, cleaning may beocme tiresome. Other than that, I have gotten nothing but compliments on the style and convenience. After searching forever I finally came across the hokku grant dining set. It is exactly what I was looking for to achieve a modern look. Clean simple lines add elegance to our dining room. Comfortably seats 8. Table and leaf are good quality, heavy and sturdy. Leaf is easy to add and remove. Chairs are comfortable, great color, and seem like they will clean up well. i searched every local furniture store around looking for a dining room table and chair set that was affordable but not ordinary and this really fit the bill! After every store visit and on-line search i kept coming back to this set. I was worried about ordering it on-line without being able to touch it and sit on the chairs, maybe they would be uncomfortable or the set would be cheaply made. Finally because i found nothing i liked as well, i ordered and was so impressed with the qualtiy, how easily it went together and finally, HOW GREAT IT LOOKS!
