This is a great Dining Room set. The craftsmanship is outstanding and the assembly is remarkably simple. I would reccomend using a power screwdriver with a torque setting rather than the silly allen wrench that is included. It will speed up the process, save your hands from cramping up and assure that you get every bolt tight. In previous posts it has been mentioned that the chairs were somewhat wobbly. Uning a powerdriver will eliminate this issue. Also since there are eight chairs, if you are assembling by hand, I would almost garantee that some of the bolts would be loose. We bought this set just before Thanksgiving to host the family. We got continual praise for how practical and beautiful this set is.I am 64 and my family is all rather tall - a counter height set like this just makes sense. I would highly reccoment this set and I am very impressed with Wayfair - I will be ordering more from them in the future."..." Read more

This kitchen set is exactly what I was looking for and is a perfect addition to my chili-pepper inspired kitchen decor. The only things I would critique about it is the formica top is not a high gloss finish like the old-fashioned retro tables. It's actually a matte finish, but so far, so good. The other thing is that there are no latches on the bottom of the table to keep the two halves closed snug. I had to install them myself because I don't want debris clogging up the seam. The set was easy to put together and it looks great in our kitchen. We were leary of ordering online but I was set on this set. I studied several different lines and this one seemed like the best quality and workmanship. I was right. My husband was pleased with the purchase. The chairs have a nice feel when you sit on them.
