I bought this dining room set for my new house. The metal finish looks just like it did in the picture and the chairs are very comfortable. The metal construction is heavy and solid and doesn't look at all cheap. The glass top allows you to see my beautiful hardwood floors beneath and also gives the illusion of more space in the room because you can see through it so it doesn't block your view. I expect this set to last for many years to come. I was disapointed by the hardware used to attach the decorative roping that goes around the table. There are these little balls that have a threaded rod that comes out of them. You put the threaded rod through the end of decorative roping and screw it into the table legs. Three of them broke when the threaded rod came unsoldered from the ball. I had to resolder them so I could assemble the ropes to the table leg. One of the areas where you screw the ball into the leg wasn't threaded at all and I was forced to buy a threading tool bit for my drill so that I could assemble that piece. I think the manufacturer should do a better job with quality control in this area."..."  Read more

I had looked for a dinning set for more than a year, but I had always gone back to this set after comparing a variety of dinning sets online and in stores. I was still worry about its real look when I placed the order because I only saw it on the website. When it was delivered and assembled in early November, I was overjoyed, and could not be happier. This beautiful dinning set is in rich mohagony with hand-crafted details on table and chair legs, chair backs, and inlay patterns on the table surface (not shown on the website pictures). It fits my dinning room perfectly facing the entry foyer. Everytime I see it when I pass the foyer, I am very happy. My family (husband two kids) love it, too. I had a lot of compliments from my friends when I hosted a dinner party on Thanksgiving Day. I also bought a Antoinette curio with the dinning set, and very happy with it as well."..."  Read more

This dining set looks exactly as pictured. The only surprise was a subtle border on the table top that is not visible from the photos, but it looks great. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the table's extension leaf arrived with some chips in the wood. It was noted by our delivery man and Wayfair immediately put us in touch with a "furniture medic" who was able to repair the table so the flaws are now hardly noticable.
